Fatehganj Pashchimi is a town and a nagar panchayat located in Bareilly district of the northern state of India, Uttar Pradesh. It lies on NH 24. Bareilly, the district headquarters is located at a distance of 13 km. in the northwest. The town is well connected to the other places in the state. The nearest railway station is the Bareilly Railway station and the nearest airport is the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
As of the 2001 India census report, Fatehganj Pashchimi had a population of 20,811 inhabitants. Males constitute 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. In Fatehganj Pashchimi, 20% of the population is less than six years of age. The town has an average literacy rate of 47%, which is much lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 54% and the female literacy rate is 39%.
