The state of Uttar Pradesh houses a multitude of cities and towns that have flourished here down the years. Amongst several towns Kaptanganj can be easily distinguished. In fact Kaptanganj is the name of a nagar panchayat town, lying in the district of Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh state. It lies near about twenty-five km `west of Padrauna`.
Experts have penned down few lines about the strategic location of this Kaptanganj town. Thus it has been positioned approximately between 26.93° N and 83.72° E. Also it has an average height of 76 meters or 249 feet.
