Gitai Mandir (Temple)
This is the mandir where Vinoba’s Gitai became perpetual. Vinoba Bhave translated the Bagwat Gita in the book Gitai. For this purpose number of polished stones are brought from different places and arranged vertically in shape of cow and 18 ‘Shlokas’ (sections) of the Gita are engraved on it. This temple is unlike to the general temple. It has no ceiling, no walls.

Vinobaji had translated the Gita, verse by verse, in Marathi, as per his mothers wish. It was first published in the form of a book in 1932. Vinobaji titled it as Gitai - Mother Gita. The Gitai Mandir complex has a photographic exhibition on the life and thoughts of Vinobaji. A photographic exhibition on the life and times of Jamnalal Bajaj has been set up inside the Shanti Kutir.
