Dalli-Rajhara is a city as well as a municipality situated in the Durg district in the state of Chhattisgarh in India. The census records of 2001 unveils that the city has a population of 50,615. Males and females respectively constitute 52% and 48% of the population. Dalli-Rajhara has an average literacy rate of 68%, which is higher than the national average of 59.5%. The male literacy is 77% while 58% of the females are literate. In Dalli-Rajhara, 14% of the population is made up of children less than 6 years of age.
Dalli Rajhara was first explored by the "Bhilai Steel Plant" for iron ore mines in Bhilai Region. Some of the notable educational institutions of the district are the Nemichand Jain Science, the Nirmala English Medium School and the Saraswati Shishu Mandir. The city is home to people from all parts of India and hence has many Temple, Mosque, Gurudwara. The city is filled with natural beauty. The Rajhara dam is an attractive picnic spot. The adjacent hills and forests are home to many species of wildlife.
