Situated at the southern extreme of the North-East, Mizoram is a land of natural beauty, wildlife, waterfalls, caves and colourful flowers. There are some interesting folklore and legendary tales surrounding the historical sites that emphasizes on the bygone era of Mizoram. Mostly dominated by Christianity, Mizoram has a literacy rate which is second highest in the country.
