Vidhana Soudha
Vidhana Soudha is one of the most stunning structures that are there in Bangalore and the best example of neo Dravidian architecture. The building serves as seat of the state legislature of Karnataka. The building was completed in the year 1956. Shri Kengal Hanumanthaiah, the then chief minister of Mysore came up with the concept of Vidhana Soudha. It is said that he traveled to many countries and got the idea for its construction. The central dome is crowned by huge figure of Indian National Emblem. The workers who built the structure were mostly prisoners. They were set free after they completed the building.
