| The New Vishwanath Temple is located in the premises of the Banares Hindu University (BHU), and is also called the Golden Temple or Birla Mandir as the temple was constructed by the Birla family. The temple was designed by Madan Mohan Malviya, founder of BHU. This temple walls are carved with the sculptures of the Hindu Gods and Goddesses. | |
