The Alepidevi temple is among the well known and famous Sidh Peethas of the deity- Lalita Devi also called the Red Goddess. It is situated in Alope Bagh and is famous for its unique jhoola, a small sized wooden swing. The swing is placed above a platform which is square in shape and on top of the swing is a small 'kund' which is considered as the deity and worshipped as such. The Ashram belonging to Shankracharya of Jyothishpeeth is just in front of this temple.
