The Valvan Lake is basically the artificial lake formed by the construction of the Valvan dam. The dam provides water to the Khopoli power station to produce electricity for the town. The dam is built across the Kundali River.
The lake provides to be one of the nicest weekend picnic spots. It also has a garden and couple of food courts.
