The Koli temple or the fishermen temple is the place of worship for the fishermen community living in and around Lonavala. The temple is also popularly named as "Aai Ekvira Temple". The principle deity of the temple is Aai Ekvira.
The goddess is believed to have some celestial powers and hence the fishermen throng the temple during the special occasions like the Navarathri. They offer animal sacrifices to the goddess to please her for the desired results.
