The Lonavala Lake was constructed in the year 1876. The lake is also called as the monsoon lake. It is believed that it is the originating point of the river Indrayani. The lake is located at a distance of around 1.6kms from the Lonavala town.
The Lonavala Lake is home for many of the rare birds and water species. While you sit along the banks of this lake, you will be treated with a variety of birds and not to mention you will be shutter happy.
