| Another holy place is the ancient Benimadhav temple which is situated at Dharganj area. It is a Lakshminarayan temple and is devoted to the Hindu deities Lakshmi and her consort, Vishnu (Narayan). It is said that Chitanya Mahaprabhu visited this temple to pay homage. |
