The Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the Chandrapur District of Maharashtra, is a prime location for spotting several wild animals, many of which are endangered. Covering an area of about 105 sq. kilometres, the vegetation at the Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary consists primarily of moist deciduous mix forests. The people who live here mostly belong to the Gond and Madia tribe and lead a lifestyle that is primitive in every sense of the word, with high dependency on the forest for their sustenance. The best time to visit the place is between February and May. The rainy season is between June to September.
