Surrounded by verdant greenery and serene atmosphere, the Narayanapura Dam has been constructed over the river Krishna, 120 km from Gulbarga. It was inaugurated in 1982 and has been the main source of drinking water for over 45 villages. The beautiful Jaladurga waterfall has become a popular picnic spot with locals and tourists as the waterfall is set amidst lush green vegetation. |
