The splendid religious monument that has withstood the ravages of time, Jama Masjid is known to have been built in the 14th century by a Moorish architect who came from Spain. The wonderful architecture showcases the blend of Moorish-Spanish and European architecture. It is said to be designed on the Spanish Cordoba Mosque.
