| On the Karanji Lake with the Chamundi hills lying as its background lies the National Museum on Natural History which is mainly devoted to the natural world and nature. It is rich in knowledge regarding the flora and fauna of South India and ecological relationships among each other. It has an art gallery dealing with evolution of mankind, biological diversity, ecology and the preservation, growth and relationships of man and the environment. It main purpose is to provide information to biological students and to create environmental awareness. |
