| Another holy shrine that deserves to be seen is the Vamanamoorthy temple also referred to as the Thrikkakara Temple as it is located in the village of Thrikkakara, close to Kochi. This temple holds importance as the lithe records are of major historical significance. On Onam, the temple holds a huge feast and the festivals are celebrated with great pomp and show. |
