Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the land of monuments – Rajasthan, India. Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) is one of the major landmarks of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink City, is the capital of Rajasthan, India. Hawa Mahal is an integral part of the impressive City Palace Complex. This is an addition of Zenana (Women’s chambers) standing away from the main complex.

The Palace of Winds – Hawa Mahal is a strange architecture which is the highlight of this palace. This remarkable architecture was designed by Ustad Lal Chand.
