Ghosia Bazar is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sant Ravidas Nagar district of the northern Indian state, Uttar Pradesh. As of the 2001 India census report, Ghosia Bazar had a population of 15,778 inhabitants. Males constitute 53% of the population and females constitute 47% of the population. In Ghosia Bazar, 20% of the population is less than six years of age. Ghosia Bazar has an average literacy rate of 38%, which is lower than the nationwide literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 46% and the female literacy rate is 29%.
