Bareilly district is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Here is situated the town and nagar panchayat of Bisharatganj.
The 2001 India census shows Bisharatganj to be a population of 12,980. As per the statistics, males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%; this figure includes children less than 6 years of age. Here 36% of the people are literate, lesser than the nationwide standard of 59.5%. Males and females respectively comprise 45% and 25% of the literates.
