The excellent rock-cuts and stone carvings on the open vertical walls at Unakoti and Pilak exhibits the immense artistry of 8th or 9th century which are still fascinating the tourists. The central Shiva carving known as the Unakotiswara Kal Bhairava is about 30 feet high and is the main attraction of this age-old place.
