| Mariam Zamani, mother of Jehangir and Akbar’s queen was originally from Goa. Mariam's tomb was built by Jehangir in the year 1611 after her death. Just to see the red stone structure and the elaborate carvings are definitely worth a visit. The unique feature of this epitome of son's devotion is that the front and the back of the tomb looks the same, making the tomb different from others. | |
