The magnificent Sitabuldi Fort is a prominent landmark of Nagpur and lies atop a hill in the centre of the city. Built by a British officer in the year 1857, it stands perched on the Twin Mountains and is one of the oldest attractions of the city. The Fort is a popular tourist destination and now houses the office of the Territorial Army.
