The Purwar Museum, located on Safara Road, is a small museum that is housed in an awesome old haveli. The museum hosts exquisite collections gifted from a retired doctor. The personal collections of Doctor Purwar have been on display since 1970. Within the museum is a 500-year-old chain maul suit, a copy of the kuran written by Aurangzeb, and an 800-year-old paithani sari. The museum is open for visitors from Tuesdays through Sunday between 10.30 am - 1.30 pm and 3 - 6 pm.
