| The Khanderi fort is situated in the sea around 3 to 4 km from the Thai beach. It was constructed in 1678. After various attempts, the British captured the fort as a part of Peshwa Territory after 1750. Today the fort is under the control of Bombay Port Trust, visitors can use local boats to visit the fort. |
