| The David Synagogue is a rare remnant of true Victorian architecture. It was built in 1861 by David Sassoon and is managed by a J. Sassoon Charity Trust. The architectural style is worth seeing especially the huge columns or Gothic style pillars in the front. An old Clock Tower overlooks the city. The Synagogue attracts people of all faiths and devotees who assemble for prayers everyday. |
