The holy Venkitachalapathy temple is just a kilometer away from the Sree Krishna temple. It is dedicated to Lord Thiruvenkitachalapathy the same God that is worshipped in Tirumala Tirupati. The most unique feature of the temple is that the idol of Goddess Bhagavaty was consecrated 600 years after the original installation of the idol of Venkitachalapathy. Both idols are given equal reverence. The annual celebration in honor of Lord Thiru Venkitachalapathy is celebrated for 6 days in the months of April and May.
