| The Nava Mukund temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavishnu and has been called the ninth Mukund as it was the ninth idol to be installed by a group of rishis or Navayogis. It is said that the 8 idols disappeared as soon as they were installed but the ninth one was saved. The temple has a 10 day festival held mid April every year. |
