Located near Haripad in Alappuzha district, the temple is dedicated to Nagaraja, the serpent God, Nagayakshi and Sarpayakshi. The main temple has two main sanctums, one for Sarpayakshi and the other for Nagaraja. It is the only shrine in Kerala known for worship of the Snake God.
