| Close to the Railway station is the magnificent Lord Parthasarthy temple dedicated to Lord Krishna while the splendid sculptured idol of Lord Krishna driving the chariot of Arjun is worth seeing. Numerous other idols of Lord Murugan, Lord Ganesha and Lord Ayappa can be seen. Simple architecture with superb elegance, the murals on the exterior walls depict the Hindu legends. It is said that the temple was built by Adi Shankara on the advice of Sage Narad. |
