| The ancient Sidhi Vinayaka temple in Ainavilli is a prominent pilgrimage centre. According to legends, Vyasa Maharshi installed a Ganesh idol here before starting his tour of South India, thus establishing the temple. With magnificent gopurams and gateways, the temple also has idols of Bhudevi with Sri Kesava Swamy, Annnapurna Devi, Sri Kalabhairava and Sri Devi. Elaborate ceremonies are held during the month of Chayititi and during Ekadasi and Dashmi. |
Ainavilli Temple's main deity is Sidhi Vinayaka and it is believed that Lord Vinayaka is the God who stops all the obstacles.
