| Close to Chennai central, the white Ripon Building is rectangular with 252 ft. by 126 ft. dimensions that give it a spectacular look. It presents the perfect blend of Gothic, Corinthian and Ironic styles. The spectacular structure has huge stick bricks while strong teak pillars support the ceiling giving the monument a beautiful elegant look. An 8 feet clock that needs winding everyday is fitted in the 132 ft. clock tower is an added attraction. |
