One of the oldest Gurudwara in Delhi, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is in Connaught Place, just opposite Gol Dak Khana. Inside the premises is a large pond for ritual bathing and is considered to wash off the sins or misdeeds and bring the person peace of mind. It is here that the celebrations on the birth anniversary of Guru Harkishan Sahib and the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh are celebrated with equal fervor by the Delhi Gurudwara Management Committee. In the main Gurudwara, there is a ‘Langar’ or food is served to the devotees daily.
