| This palatial Governor's House served as a home for the Governor of North West Province, during the British times. Now it serves as an official residence of the Governor of Uttaranchal. It is also called as Raj Bhavan. The property is beautifully landscaped with golf course, swimming pool and an awesome garden. Other important places to visit during the stay here is Munshi heights and Jhandidhar Modi heights. The Raj Bhavan has 113 rooms and is of two floors. It also looks like a replica of Birmingham palace. |
