A place for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts is the Domboor Lake, all of 45 square kilometers and is a result of the meeting of the two rivers, Saima and Raima. It has 48 islands within it and has a plethora wealth of natural vegetation, aquatic life, flora, fauna as well as the migratory birds that come from afar. A Hydel project is also there. The serenity, tranquility and calmness of the lake is mesmerizing and worth visiting. Besides, the beautiful gardens and facilities for entertainment and water sports have enhanced its worth. An annual festival, the 'Pous Sankranti Mela' is held on 14th January and is flooded by visitors.
