| Constructed in the late 18th century, the Paigah Tombs were discovered recently. Located at Santosh Nagar, just 10 km away from Hyderabad city, the Paigah Tombs are known for the unique decorations and intricate designs in marble. The tombs cover an area of 2 acres and basically these tombs are a chain of large burial chambers exclusively built for the Paigahs and close family members. They are popular tourist destinations due to delicate mosaic work, detailed carvings and intricate geometric patterns that are unique to the dynasty. |
