| Another outstanding example of the fascinating architecture is the Mecca Masjid. It has employed 800 masons over 77 years! It is one of the oldest and largest mosques in India, situated just 100 meters from Charminar. According to legends, it is said that all the bricks used to construct this Masjid were imported directly from Mecca. A 75 mt. hall is decorated with a huge 220 x 180 ft. chandelier of pure Belgian crystals. |
