Aithor is a large village on the banks of the River Pasupavati, spread over an area of 3000 hectares, with a population of around 12,000. This 2500 year-village was previously known as Aravati Nagari and then Aydhi Nagari before it came to be known as Aithor Name. It falls under the Unjha taluka of Mehsana district (30km.s from Mehsana). It has a 4 school buildings with classes up to the secondary level. The ssc board is situated at Unjha. Aithor has a well-equipped library: Gangabhai Keshavlal Public Library . The nearest colleges are at Unjha.. The main occupation of the people of this village is farming and cattle-breeding. Aithor has a co-operative milk production society and supplies its output to AMUL. A lot of milk-based products are also made here at least three shops sell these products.
The main crops cultivated in this area are jiru, Arenda, variyali juaer, and bajri. The Gujurat State Fertilizer Corporation often organizes agricultural fairs in this village. There is a very strong sense of hertitage among the people of this village and even now several villagers continue in their profession/trade according to that which has been followed in previous generations The tradition of predictng rain and crop yield according to natural indicators (sukan) is still practiced here; flowers are used as indicators. In keeping with an age-old tradition, the festival of Ganesh Chhaath sees the staging of traditional plays called bhavai which is performed by an all-male cast (they perform the role of women as well).

The God Statue was not made of Marble and ant metal. But it is made of Soil. On God Statue, people full down sindur and Ghee. The Ganesha’s God Temple is left side which is rarely fount in India because of that there are million people come for prayer in Aithor. There are lots of Epic (God) Story for that temple which was made in Solanki age.
