Numerous towns and cities have developed in the states of Indian continent. The state of Tamil Nadu is also not an exception. Amongst them, Kolathupalayam remains stand apart. In fact Kolathupalayam is the name of a panchayat town which is located in the district of Erode district of Tamil Nadu state of India. Primary attractions are Kodumudi Temple, Sri Kalyanapasupatheeswarar Temple, Chennimalai Temple, Government Museum at Karur and Namakkal Dhurgam Fort. These are found in adjoining region of Kolathupalayam.
In order to connect this Kolathupalayam town with other places in India, airports and roads are built. C A Coimbatore Airport lies in vicinity. From places like Erode and Karur one can access Kolathupalayam via road.
