Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is the most famous attractive tourist spot.
Shimla is known as the queen of hills and capital is also known for its royalty and beauty.Shimla is situated in the north western himalayas. It is located 2,200 mts above the sea level.Nature has blessed the capital city with cool climate and beauty.
Shimla got a narrow gauge railway line which linked shimla to the plains of Delhi through kalka. The vast level ground of the Ridge is the famous evening spot.Scandle point is the meeting point of mall and Ridge.
District had given a place of pride to the state of Himachal Pradesh in the production of apples and thus known as "Apple state of India"

Mall road

Mall is centrally located in shimla and is known as the heart of the capital. It remain crowded on weekend.
It is full of sops,restaurants, No. of showrooms and emporiums. Famous Christ Church and State Library is also located on mall road.


Ridge

It is the hub for all cultural activites. It is situated along the Mall road and presents excellent view of the mountains and natural beauty.


Scandal point

This point arises from the elopement of the Maharaja of Patiala with the British lady.Popular lore is that the king of Patiala had a crush over the daughter of Viceroy of India one day while she was taking a stroll in this place Maharaja Patiala kidnapped her from that day the place came to be known as Scandal point. Point is a favorite spot for the teenagers.
At Scandal point there is a statue of Lala Lajput Rai.


Gaiety Theature
It is situated on Mall. Many Popular film actors have performed on its stage. The theature have old archetecture works and have been preserved for making it more attractive.
