| Panchgani is one of those lovely hill stations that has still retained its old world charm. This is the place to come to, if you wish to do nothing but unwind with a book or go on long romantic walks. However, if you are in the mood for some adventure, you could take a quick trip to the Rajpuri Caves. 7 kms from Panchgani, it will take you about half an hour to get there. Once there, you will have to descend down brick steps to reach the Caves. The Kartik Swami Temple is one of the chief attractions here. It has several water kunds, like the Triveni Sangam temple at Prayag and its waters are said to have curative powers. |
